Beautifully crafted

I’m a fan of Tricia O’Malley. I enjoy her writing style. This book did not disappoint. The world she’s created within this series is a lovely escape. I get lost in the writing, the characters and the relationships and it’s wonderful. Something about this book struck a chord with me and I don’t know why just yet. It’s only my first listen. (There will many, there always are) Maybe it’s seeing the characters coming together, maybe it’s strong women represented while still being vulnerable, lacking confidence, but still pushing through that has me so incredibly hooked. I think most women feel that and it’s written so well. It’s fun, it’s sometimes silly (in all of the best ways)but it always leaves me wanting more. Great addition to an amazingly well designed world!

loved every bit of it. nothing bad to say at all. leaves me anxious for the next book about the next gal joining to fight the kelpies.

Different

I love the different ways that couples meet in each book. Especially this book. I also liked the way Kaia was upfront with Thane about her magic and being part of the order.
