Teddy and Stella are outstanding as Luke and Mack

I cannot get enough of the sexy cowboys from Sunrise, Montana. I didn't think I could fall in love with any cowboy who wasn't a Ryker, but I was WRONG! The Wilde Boys are surely invading a part of my heart. Wild Mistake is the second book in the Wilde Horse Ranch Series and I LOVED IT! Mackenzie Langston has returned to Sunrise, where she is going to be teaching at the high school, but before the school year begins, she takes off on an unexpected trip to Hawaii with her twin brother's best friend, Luke Wilde. Luke and Mackenzie were not strangers to each other. As one of the Wilde kids, Luke grew up spending most of his time at the Langston home. The last thing he wants to do is risk his relationship with the people he consider family, but when lines are crossed there is no going back.

Let me say that I absolutely loved the chemistry between Mack and Luke. It was insanely HOT. There were a couple of scenes in this book that had me wanting to take a ride to a ranch and seek out a cowboy. Mackenzie was so hot because she was not shy at all about what she wanted. She was not shy about owning her sexuality and being comfortable with her body. I LOVED THAT! When she asked Luke if he needed help......(if you have read the book, you know what I am talking about) - that moment was so hot. I was like "yes, girl.!!"

I read the ebook and listened to the audiobook and they are both two complete different experiences. While both extremely enjoyable, the audiobook, which is narrated by Stella Hunter and Teddy Hamilton, really takes us on a different journey. Stella and Teddy are two narrators who give their characters distinct voices. Anytime I listen to a book narrated by either of them, it is a new experience.

Wild Mistake is one of those books that made me feel I was back in a very familiar place. It wasn't only Luke and Mack's story, but we got to see how life in Sunrise is going for the Rykers, Wildes, and Langstons. We also have Travis back in Montana. It was so much fun seeing them all interact and building relationships with one another. I love the friendships, love, and support. I cannot wait for more.

What do you do when you have a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, but no significant other to take? You take a friend. Easy decision, right? Especially when that friend is recovering from heartbreak as well. No problem if that friend is the sister of your best friend, right? And boy has she grown up. But nope, no worries here.

Luke and Mackenzie agree that this two weeks away is a chance to refocus. Two friends on vacation. No romance. No hot as hades sex even though the sparks bouncing between them could start a forest fire in the rain forest.

Easier said than done. What starts as a friends vacation, quickly turns into something so much more.

The audio for this is off the charts Who knew Teddy Hamilton could play the role of the cowboy so well? And Stella Hunter is amazing is always. She does such a good job showing Mackenzie's strong side, while giving you the feels for her vulnerability as well.

Hooked on the Wild’s

Love this series and hated for it to end. Kim Loraine writes sizzling hot and angst emotional stories and Wild Mistake is one of them. Stella Hunter and Teddy Hamilton are perfect together in duet narration.

There's no mistake grabbing this audiobook

Wild Mistake by Kim Lorraine was incredibly sexy!! Luke was a total alpha and he was so in charge... I loved that about him.. MacKenzie wasn't no pushover,  she was demanding and strong. These two have an incredible chemistry. They just need to get over their fear of bring together of people knowing they were together. Luke and Mac have this pull that they try so hard to fight but can't resist each other. 

Kim Lorraine knocked this story out of the park! It was FULL of sexiness and this Sweetness that really swept me off my feet. I didn't see Luke being so full of heart. The narration was purely amazing! Teddy Hamilton seems to channel what I'd envision Luke to be like. He had this entire Southern drawl without it being too much. Stella Hunter was a wonderful MacKenzie. She had that punch that I'd hope she'd have. Mac is feisty with a loving heart.

I'm loving these Wilde boys!

I will forever equate hot and swoony cowboys with Kim Loraine! Each book becomes my favorite once released and this one is no exception!
Oh my gosh! What can I say about Luke and MacKenzie. I loved both characters, their journey together. I loved how perceptive Luke was to Mac's feelings when she started pulling away. Both had really been hurt before and were completely gun shy about jumping into a relationship with anyone. Closing themselves off thinking they didn't deserve better. Well, they prove each other wrong so good! I mean, who wouldn't fall in love with a guy that says, "I'll wait for you as long as it takes." SWOON!!
The audio, my god. Stella and Teddy were absolutely outstanding and in their performances made me fall even more in love with Mackenzie and Luke than I already was.
