Female Lead Wasn’t Really Likable

While this was a nice enough story the FMC was such an overachiever that even her own friends didn’t fully like her. She was way too much for me.

The military portrayal seemed realistic and believable. There was actually more of it in the story than I expected. That was nice.

Vivienne LaRue and Zachary Johnson narrated this story. Both had great pacing. LaRue’s performance was more detailed. She gave the listener some acting and had a good version of a male voice. I just wish she could have done more male voices to differentiate the guys. Johnson’s performance was less stand out. He made no attempt to differentiate the three males and his acting could use some work.

I was interested in the beginning when they were all getting together, but I’ll admit I lost interest about half way through.

Is three better than one? It is nice to have good friends who create a fake dating profile and be paired with three hot Marines. Lucky her! This was a very good reverse harem. Vivienne LaRue and Zachary Johnson did a great job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
