only 1 star for performance because I don't like virtual

read this book with this audible and I liked it (minus virtual voice). The author mentioned in this book this is her first and I was pleasantly surprised it was solid. Nice flow. Not really a plot but thats why I said nice flow. Many books without a plot are all over the place. I liked it and I feel like usually I'm a harsh reviewer or whatever you want to call it

It’s good!

When I read the description of the story, I was hesitant because it sounded like it would be a dark, abusive, intense, frustrating story with a big bad abusive stepbrother. The brother is a lot more mild and is just a big old softy. It’s a cute story. Definitely not as intense as I was worried it would be.

enjoyed it

First amount is narrated with virtual voice. But I think virtual voice is getting much better. And I really enjoyed it.And I enjoyed the way the story developed

Loved it

I loved listening to the audiobook, even the virtual narration didn't dim the light in the book. I was kept on edge when Vincent showed up and kept expecting the shoe to drop,I had to remind myself that the author stated the book has HEA so I relaxed a bit😜 It was also refreshing that James's mom was supportive. The book was very enjoyable throughout, and the intimate moments were awesome 👌.

I love a good stepbrother romance, but not this one

It was difficult to get through the dialogue. I found myself rolling my eyes way too many times and struggling to finish.
