Fast listen with a fierce heroine

This went by so fast for a 6-hour listen. Ruby is a strong FMC — stubborn, smart, situationally aware, and with a savage edge that makes her really fun to follow. I also liked that she had built her tattoo shop and business from the ground up, because it made her feel grounded and capable before everything around her started shifting. The four horsemen each had distinct personalities, powers, and vices, which kept the group dynamic interesting. A quick, engaging listen with a solid setup for more. 4 stars.
