Wicked Autumn

The story was good, the characters interesting. The general story dragged a bit, but I could live with that. My issue was that the author chose a character that was on the outside of those investigated. I had to think back to recall who he even was. The author then goes on to tie up the loose ends in a narrated manner that lost my attention. I have started the next in the series, hopefully the end will be better.

Just OK

The book is a pleasant ebough way to pass the time. The author is very detailed in her character development and description of the village. The plot isnt terribly intriguing, but interesting enough to want to know whodunit. The narrator is mismatched for the lead character of Max Tudor, so I switched to print to finish the book. I'm not sure I'll pick up the next one in the series.
