Fun Entertaining Stories
My second Whitney audiobook that my grandchildren, in particular my 5 year old granddaughter, enjoyed.
Family, siblings, life lessons, all set out in a manner children are enjoy and entertained. Having several different stories made it so they could be listened to at different times and just the right length.
The narrator was perfect sounding like a little girl and all the other characters. She kept my granddaughter engaged.

I requested this audiobook for my littles. They really enjoyed listening to the different stories in this pack. The narrator did a great job with the children voices, they weren't overdone in any way. The stories kept my little's attention and they were excited to listen to all three stories.

Third is the best
This is the first I’ve read/listened to by this author and I would try another.
The first book was quite fantastical and was not as obvious of a lesson as the other two. The third was the best story. The language is such that it is not preachy or patronizing to kids. I think they’d be very entertaining for young children.
This is the first book I’ve listened to by this narrator ( Marlene Markos ) and I would listen to another. She did a good job narrating the stories. Her kids voices were not too high or squeaky.

Delighful story for listeners of all ages.........
Although Whitney Learns a Lesson Books 1-3 is geared to children, I think that listeners of all ages can enjoy this story. Whitney is a precocious and sweet young girl, and I could relate to so many of her feelings and inner dialogue from when I was a child. As a matter of fact, I found myself feeling pretty nostalgic for fun times with my family after I finished listening to these stories. In each book, Whitney is presented with some challenging situations, and she must learn many valuable lessons in order to succeed. These lessons include the difficulties of working on a group project, how to entertain herself when she is BORED, how to budget her money, how to work hard to attain certain goals, and many other important life lessons for kids and adults alike. I think this would be the perfect audiobook to help make a car trip with youngsters pass more quickly or to substitute for a bedtime story read by mom or dad.
Marlene Markos is the perfect choice for this series. She has a light, youthful voice that suits Whitney's bubbly personality to a tee. She also handles the voices of the adults well, and the story flows very smoothly with her flawless performance.
