We get more Fury and she is learning so much more. And there’s more development with her men which I adored. She’s also figuring out more about her magic and how to use it. I couldn’t stop listening to the story. It had me on edge the entire time and I needed to know what would happen next. I seriously need the next book cause I need to know what’s going to happen with Fury and her guys.

Another excellent installment

This book took me longer to become absorbed in then the first, but once I did, I was all in! The book picks up exactly where we left all our characters at the end of book 1. This book reveals a few juicy tid bits, just enough to make sure we all know the final book, book 3 will be a wild ride.

Hades was the surprise fav in book 2!

I enjoyed this sequel in the A Demon's Guide to the Afterlife series. It has some really great moments, but I enjoyed book 1 more I think. I think Fury's snark was fabulous in book one, she was a total BA, and I liked getting to the know the guys but that wasn't as strong in book 2. I think it's because of how the guys treated her and her personality wasn't as bright if that makes sense. Thats why I brought it down from a 5 to a 4 stars, but again I still really enjoyed it and would recommend this series on ebook and audio.

I really liked getting to see how the guys, in their own way, wanted to convince Fury to stay once the mission is over. Dorian and his music was so cute, I wish we could have seen more of Fury as an enforcer (to see her BA and snark more), and then we get to meet more or interact with more of the pack, so that was great. The steam was great in this one, wasn't expecting Dorian! I felt so bad for Roman with his but thought it was such a bromance with Ezra how he helped him out. I think the weird stuff going on with her body is confusing haha and hope there is more explanation in book 3. The end was a shocker, but loved Hades even more in this one and was so happy Duke was there too! I really hope book 3 is able to come out on audio, wanna know how it finishes! And loved the title reference/connection haha. 4-4,5 stars from me for the story 😊

Narration was as fabulous as book 1! I thought the different emotions that the characters had to go through, the betrayal, anger, pain, breaking of barriers, the start of love, etc. I thought the performance regarding Dorian's loved one was really well done, the conflict, losing of her mind, etc. The anger Fury has when she wasn't told of things, how Dorian is a snob and thinks he doesnt have to include the others but realize that isn't the case. The inflections and tones were great. I also loved the side characters and how they really elevated the storyline and tied things in nicely. The narrators did a good job making them distinguishable, 5/5 stars from me!

Loved it.

Fury is my new favorite person. I absolutely love her! But I need the next audiobook. I love, love the job the narrators have been doing bringing these characters to life and I have become addicted to this series. Definitely a must listen!

NOOOOOOO stupid cliffhangers!!!!

The book is great it ends on a cliffhanger which kills me can’t wait for the next want to come out on audio!

I enjoyed the first book and this one just sucks you in even more. What a cliffhanger, I want the next book now.

Makes me laugh

2nd book down gotta wait for the third. I’m laughing with the characters and loving the steamy scenes.

I absolutely loved it! listen to it straight through because it was so addictive. the narrators do such a good job at putting the perfect amount of emotions in each chapter to make you feel like you are living it with them.

You also, get to go further with the 3 hot men and learn what new magic Fury has. See what she changes into and have some fun with your favorite sidekick Hades!

Kel & Aurelia did it again!

Well that was unexpected

Wow, well we start out running.
We learn so many secrets and mysteries.
Fury learns how to use her new gifts, and so much more.
You are not prepared for the ending of this.

Voice Hard to Stay Engaged

Some of the writing is obvious, some directional/contexual writing should have been omitted, and one of the voices is hard to listen to with all the pauses, emphasis, and over acting. I struggled in book one, I'm struggling to finish book two. Kel Carpenter is a great writer and I love her other books.
