From Bram Stoker Award finalist KC Jones comes White Line Fever, a harrowing thrill ride about friendship, trauma, and learning how to take the wheel of your own life.
THEY'LL BREAK MORE THAN SPEED LIMITS ON THIS GIRLS' TRIP FROM HELL.
At a passing glance, County Road 951 is an entirely unremarkable stretch of blacktop, a two-lane scar across the Cascade foothills of Central Oregon.
But the road is known by another name, coined by locals who’ve had to clean up after all those scenic detours went horribly wrong: The Devil’s Driveway.
When Livia and her long-time friends take the Driveway as a shortcut to a much-needed weekend getaway, what begins as a morning joyride quickly becomes anything but. Soon, they’re driving for their lives, pursued by a horror beyond anything they ever imagined.
The Devil’s Driveway might be only 15 miles long, but with danger at every turn, it will take the four women to the very limits of their friendships and their sanity.
And there’s no telling what else lies in wait just beyond the bend.

I'm very picky with books it can be closer to 4 stars for sure but I only give 5 to great. it had some confusing moments I sometimes likes that. of who the beast or entity was and Livias father if he was still alive was this creature just impersonating beings ? I did get the feeling of a Freddy Kruger storey and it said that's what it was. I fell stuff was left out at the end this really should be 4 stars overall if it had a few more things to it. the story is definitely at least 4 ⭐ and the performance is almost 5 ⭐ I have it 5 for that. I read the book too o do both. the scoundrels which the friends call each other really developed into interesting characters. but I wish it gave more info on the highway 🛣️ and why this happened. at first I thought it was going to be a truck 🚛 that follows them they never said what that truck was that almost hit them in the beginning. sometimes it was confusing knowing what was really happening and not. what were the others going through when one was on a time slip ? because they didn't really get hit in an accident. it's had great qualities but could have used a little more but for a new author that I didn't know of it was good. I got this last year and finally read it
I got to like the characters the mystery
