The ongoing incredible writing of E. Camden
The heroine was a bit “too good” but other than that, what a great story!!!! E. C. Always manages to teach about some aspect of life, like how sugar was made in this case. To me that puts her books in another category of greatness!

Excellent mystery, history, romance!
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Elizabeth Camden’s While the City Sleeps. It takes place in 1913 New York City about a female dentist who works the night shift and a police officer who walks her home every night. The mystery and danger come alive and the slowly building romance might die before the spark can grow! I couldn’t stop listening through the whole book; the narrator is enjoyable too. The historical theme and character development were great and there was an important faith /forgiveness thread as well. Very good book!
