Despite mutual dislike, Baldwin agrees to help Madalene, but only if she stays far away from the investigation. A promise that she has no intention of keeping. Will headstrong Madalene and duty-driven Baldwin be able to work together, especially since so much is at stake?

Very dull. I did like that the heroine was wealthy, but she did some dumb stuff. The hero was a bit full of himself when he thought the heroine was spying on him and following him. Both the hero and heroine tried to put me to sleep, and they succeeded.
