Super-mom unlocked… until she isn’t. Notes appear in her daughter’s room. Things are moved. Jada collapses at school. And Eve can’t remember any of it. Is someone in the house at night or is she losing her mind? Is she is surrounded by friends or devious and suspicious co-workers? Who can be trusted? Lies and secrets throughout. How will Eve and Jada get their loving and comfortable lives back? King delivers twist after dizzying twist and Kennard nails every unraveling moment. I’m on the lookout for more mystery from these exquisitely talented women. Never a lull or a dull. I tried to wrap up the ending, but no, I was wrong time again and again (jaw, meet the floor). That was not to be. Fair warning: I read late into the night. “While You Sleep” is one of my absolute favorites.
