Publisher's summary

Emily Garland is getting married and looking for the perfect forever home. When the old, and some say haunted, Hadley house comes up for sale, she’s convinced it’s “the one". The house is also perfect for reality TV star Miles Pemberton and his new series, House Haunters. Emily will fight for her dream home, but Pemberton’s pockets are deeper than Emily’s, and he’ll stretch the rules to get what he wants.

While Pemberton racks up enemies all around Lount’s Landing, Arabella Carpenter, Emily’s partner at the Glass Dolphin antiques shop, has been hired to appraise the contents of the estate, along with her ex-husband, Levon. Could the feuding beneficiaries decide there’s a conflict of interest? Could Pemberton?

Things get even more complicated when Arabella and Levon discover another will hidden inside the house, and with it, a decades-old secret. Can the property stay on the market? And if so, who will make the winning offer: Emily or Miles Pemberton?

"I thought you'd never ask."

Arabellla's friend and partner, Emily, has been house hunting with husband to be, Luke, and they've found one she thinks is pretty well perfect. Buying a house is stressful at the best of times, but trying to secure this home is made far worse when another potential purchaser arrives on the scene, one who is also backed by TV fame and much more money than she and Luke could ever hope to find.

Where There's a Will is the third and final book in the Glass Dolphin mystery series, based around a recently opened antiques shop, it's owner and her friends. Well written, with good, believable characters and interesting story lines, the reader even gets treated to learning something new and fascinating: this time, it's photography. Oh, and a bit of legalese, as well. Seen from different points of view, essentially those of Arabella and of Emily, narrator Angela Iannone tells their story. She has a deliciously attractive voice and gives a good performance, reading with clarity, well modulated and giving the characters some voice differentiation. Unfortunately, however, she also gives the impression of reading each word separately which, combined with a fast delivery, made for a jerking presentation. This was mostly solved by slowing the playback spear a little and didn't affect the quality of the listening.

My thanks to the rights holder of Where There's a Will, who, at my request freely gifted me with a complimentary copy via Audiobook Boom. I have really enjoyed this quirky series, and the people living inside it's pages. I'll miss them. Although best read from volume one, each book stands alone and, like those before, this is a recommended story.

Where There's a Will is an entertaining and enjoyable cozy mystery with engaging characters and an interesting plot. I love the historical information and the tidbits about antiques. I was sad to learn that it's the last in the series.

Angela Iannone needs to go to narrator school. She read very fast and without inflection..

Fantastic Ending to this Series - Great Mystery!

I have read two of the three books in this series. This one is a bit different, as it doesn't have a murder mystery but is more estate and hunting down of wills and information. This made for a nice change of pace and was very intriguing. I loved the story and the writer's style. It's a clean book but I would say it's geared for an older YA and up read.

The narration is where I struggled a bit. On top of being on the slow side, (I had to bump up to 1.35x speed) her enunciations were very harsh. Mixed with the slow pauses between words, it was at times a bit distracting. It unfortunately reminded me of how people talk to my blind daughter, thinking she can't hear well either by over enunciating or emphasizing the wrong words.

Great listen

Book three in "A Glass Dolphin Mystery" series. I have read all 3 but I found this book to be a little different. First, as most mysteries have a murder to solve this book doesn't. I did very much enjoy all the information given on estates and sales and inheritance. I hope there will be more in this series to come.

A Dream House With Baggage

In this third book of the Glass Dolphin Mystery series, Emily is looking for her dream house. Her partner, Arabella has been hired to evaluate the estate that contains the house that Emily has decided is the perfect one. When Arabella and her ex-husband find another will pertaining to the estate, things get more complicated. I enjoy Judy Penz Sheluk's story, not only for her character development but also for the humor that is found in her writing. Angela Iannone's narration was fine, I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

Where there's a will

More than one will makes it difficult for the 'Glass Dolphins' owners to settle the estate they are working on. I enjoyed it. Angela Iannone was a fine,if fast narrator.I had to cut the speed to .9 to listen.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
