Where Do Ladybugs Get Their Color?

When Chloe was 8, she and her dad made many stories each night, with always one guiding request: “each one must be new and creative”, filled with adventure and fun. Sometimes scary, some exciting, and each tale brought a next chapter and left more to build upon. One night, they found themselves drawing characters from the many stories.

Next they created a sequence of sketches of characters and bits of story. It was decided, the ladybug was the central character who set out on a journey to answer one question: “Where do ladybugs get their color?”

What started as a fun children’s tale 12 years ago was incredibly brought to reality. A heartfelt thank you to Tome.app for helping to share this fun little father-daughter project in hopes to inspire many more to choose their own adventure and see it come to life.
