A great, steamy romance

I loved Henrietta and Trem's story! He is a great male lead - funny, flirty, and loves s-e-x! It was a delight to read about such a brazen couple, and I can't wait to dig into the rest of the series. This one is already in my reread pile!!!

Randy rake, silly moon-eyed man child, irrational & impulsive girl, angry brother, and lots and lots of sex…

We get it! The 2 main characters are hot for each other, and have to do it all over England! Enough! How many things have to go wrong before they go right?!!
I prefer the Book 1 Henrietta… book 2, she’s tiresome and too rash & immature to get married….her love interest isn’t much better, and he’s 10 years older! C+

Watch out, this book is 🔥 🥵!

OMG- so wonderfully steamy. It is well written, not crazy complicated or deep. Henrietta is open, bold and not afraid to take what she wants. Not your usual FMC. Trem is just amazing. Christy Woods is a gifted narrator. If you don't like a spicy novel, this won't be for you. If you do, enjoy with abandon!

Not very proper!

Omg, I never realized how steamy London was in 1818!! Wow, the author did a terrific job with the NUMEROUS 🔥🔥 scenes!! Very enjoyable story. My one complaint was how our heroine didn’t fully learn how not to be so dim witted in not communicating with her fiancé and trying to “wish away” potentially dangerous situations! Excellent narrator!! Looking forward to the next book.

entertaining and spicy

If you enjoyed the first book you're going to love the second book. great story and I love the characters. this book had medium high spice level. I absolutely loved the two main characters story. I was really surprised when I saw the score on Audible so low for this book. It is a great book.
