Great story

Even though at times I was very frustrated with the misunderstandings. Overall a fast, humorus read

Adorable!!!

I very much enjoyed this story because it put a new twist on an overdone storyline, Marriage of Convenience. The writing is wonderful, full of tongue-in-cheek banter & humor. The couple is... well, adorable. It is so cute how they relate to each other right from the beginning. Not only are they lovable characters but they easily maintain their individual strengths without tearing the other down in anyway. They are the ultimate Regency "It" couple.

It's a bit sexy but mostly flirty so that there is no "too graphic", or "too cringey" moments. There are only 2 scenes that touch on the mechanics of sexual encounters, but tastefully, not crude. Most of the book is about what a healthy marriage should look like, fun and supportive!

It is a wonderful & surprising variation on a very old tale!

Terrific Narration too. I highly recommend this book!

Entertaining, but not outstanding. The writing is good & the story moves along smoothly. The plot is somewhat predictable and the characters could have used more depth.

Sweet story

This was a sweet story. I first read it and later listened to the audiobook because I enjoyed the story so much. Unfortunately, I found the narration distracting. It was mostly because of a somewhat strange emphasis on syllables or words that didn’t make sense. In general, it made everyone sound older than they were in the story. Maybe it was just not how I’d heard it in my head while reading, but I’m not sure I would’ve made it through the story had I encountered the audiobook first. I did like the voice she used for the main character but the male voices were off-putting.

Cute

Cute, but it lacked depth, and therefore lost a star. The characters just weren’t as developed as they could’ve been. But the story was sweet if not a bit overdone. A marriage of convenience turns to real love. The list turned out to be a cute edition. I liked the new list at the end. The epilogue was satisfying as well.

The narrator was good, but I found her MFC voice a little whiny.

I’ll listen to more from both the author and narrator.
