The narrator

The story line had substance. I enjoyed wondering what would happen next. This was the first time I listened to a Lydia Lloyd book. I will certainly look for another. I applaud the choice of the narrator. Sometimes regency books have female narrators that tend to screech. This was not the case. This book was easy and pleasant in which to listen.

great and refreshing story

I really enjoyed this book. I am going to read the whole book series. I definitely drawn to the characters. the spicy level I would say is medium. The ending was a bit short however I know they'll be more in the second.

Interesting story. Enjoyed.

Appreciated the writing especially that most, if not all, of the characters were well developed. Plot was believable without signaling exactly what was going to happen……there were small surprises. Was well paced….nothing drawn out or tedious.
Narration was very good….character voices used were how I expected the characters to sound….nothing weird or off-key or annoying…were age and gender appropriate.
Motivated to listen to Book 2.

Give me more!

I loved this book and couldn't put it down. The narration is a masterpiece and the story just flows beautifully. I devoured this book in days. I would have read faster if not for interruptiona.

other RHR's. superb work. can only hope more comes from this brilliant author and doctor of lit. it ticks all the boxes.
