Good 4th book

A good 4th book in the series, showing a continuation of the first 3 books.

Excellent!

A beautifully written work, I am saddened that this great author is no longer with us. This was a great read for sure!

Great series!

The characters were great. The story went by so fast. I wish there was a fourth book, about new races found, and how Simon and Kitty are living the dream that we all have. The narrator is the absolute best. Mark Boyett is my favorite.

i hope that another talented wrighter cud take upp the series, feel there is more story to tell. but i can say that i love this book

One of the Better of Today’s Sci-Fi

This series started out on the premise of regular people doing extraordinary things. It has developed into one of the better Sci-Fi series I have listened to on Audible. It pays homage to the sci-fi greats and is a great story. Yes there are some gaffs and some inaccuracies but hey, this is sci-fi it doesn’t have to be perfect just has to be a good dream. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes space opera this is a good one.

A truly great 4 book series

From the first book starting on a night in the United States to the last book on a distant planet this series takes you on a adventurous trip that makes hard to not let the book rest.

Great book series

Bob did a great job writing this series I want more. And as always mark brought the books to life for me. Make more in this series I want to know what they find exploring.

Good Way to End

Part of me is sad to make it to the end of this book knowing the fate of the Author and another part is simultaneously upset at the author for not finishing the plot holes and seemingly rushing this to its conclusion. I have a feeling if Mauldin was still around we might have the opportunity to get more of this story. I do think the series overall is very well done and paced decently but this book seems to rush through time and leaves me thinking about what happened to alot of characters and why some plot points weren't followed more.

the ending gives you closure

Becoming attached to book characters can make saying goodbye challenging; in this case, it's like saying "see you later" to your best friend.
The author passed away in 2019 shortly after completing this series. Godspeed.
