Gabby

Looking back, I should have seen the signs. Perhaps I did, but I subconsciously chose to ignore them.

From the time I was 10, when I first met Dylan, I knew he was my forever guy. Back then, I couldn’t put words to what I was feeling, but, as the years progressed, I came to recognize it for what it was - soul-deep love. The kind only very few people ever get to experience.

Dylan was more than just my best friend, my childhood sweetheart, my lover. He was my soul mate. We were carved from the same whole - destined to be together forever.

Until he changed.

And I believed I was no longer good enough.

Until he shattered me so completely, it felt like I ceased to exist.

And I’d never experienced such heart-crushing pain.

Until he leveled me a second time, and I truly wanted to die.

But I had to stay strong because I wasn’t alone in this cruel twist of fate.

I look to the sky, pleading with the stars, begging someone to tell me what I should do because I don’t know how to deal with this. I don’t know how to cope when my forever has changed, and I can’t help wondering if I had seen the signs earlier, if I’d pushed him, would it have been enough to save us?

Or had fate already decided to alter our forever?

Due to mature content and potential triggers, this book is only recommended to listenersover the age of 18. This is the first book in a duet, although both books can be listened to as stand-alone romances as they focus on different couples.

Nope….

I found this one not the author’s best work…. It had potential but it was drawn out and the part with the two year old was unbelievable….

I liked it, but didn't love it

where do I begin...Siobhan is seriously THE MOST creative author, her stories never seem to amaze me, shock me, pull me in. the drama is always oh so good... for MOST of her books. this book however wasn't as strong as others. Gabby (the heroine) got on my nerves so many times, like she kept wasting time, wasting moments, not making good decisions, etc, I wanted to strangle her at times. I loved the male leads, but at times it got too sappy, like I was craving more alpha male characteristics. don't get me wrong, it was there, just not as demanding as I like. I dunno, the story was fairly predictable, and her books are KNOWN for being unpredictable! it was hard to get past some points in the books because of frustration. so much time passed in parts and I wanted to scream, nooooo! why do much time?! I dunno, overall, entertaining and sweet, but unnecessary drama in alot of the book. I just wish the heroine wasn't such an idiot throughout. it is definitely worth the read, but I wouldn't buy it to keep. it's a one and done type read. sexy times was excellent, per usual in all her books. narration was really good. 3 out of 5 overall stars.

Dual Narration??

This author needs to understand that dual Narration means back and forth between two different voice narrators

An emotional Journey

I had extremely high expectations when I started reading this book because I have read Siobhan’s work before and totally loved it. When Forever Changes totally lived up to those expectations.

Beautifully written, with a wonderfully angsty, emotionally satisfying story-line I enjoyed this book from page one to The End!

Until over 10% I wanted scream at Gabby to open her eyes. She noticed the changes in her deteriorating relationship and didn’t question them, she was even in denial when presented with facts but this is the case in a lot of relationships, so yes annoying, but also understandable and believable.

Then hurrah, she found her inner feisty and pulled up her big girl pants and from then on she became an even better character.

Slater, childhood friend, and her youngest brothers best friend, had her back and was totally swoon worthy. I wanted to hug him at more than one point. Sure he wasn’t perfect but still he made me cold heart flutter.

I can honestly say that the characters were superbly developed. The decent ones were wonderfully decent and the less than admirable ones were distinctly unlikable. There were focuses on the other character and we got a good deal of insight into them. I love this as it gives a story depth.

I cried more than once listening to this moving story.

Siobhan Davis has undoubtedly penned and outstanding romance and if this doesn’t make it onto best seller lists then I would be astounded.

This emotional journey packed an even bigger punch when I listened to it in audiobook format. Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross delivered a moving strong performance.
