Publisher's Summary

You’re goddamn right. I’m still sitting at the same weathered wooden table in the back of Manhattan’s oldest bar where I just finished my first masterpiece, At Night She Cries, While He Rides His Steed. The second I finished it, I started writing this one.

I’m now 14 beers deep, and I’ve polished off an entire eight ball of yay. The phrase “everything in moderation” applies to everything except cocaine, booze, and prostitutes. If you haven’t read my last book then you probably won’t f--cking understand anything in this book, so you should probably go buy that first and stop being poor. It’s f--cking gross.

Let’s get something straight, my life is so important that you should be grateful I’m even doing this.  Seriously, do you know another motherf--cker like me? Me, neither. So let’s get down to brass.

In the last book, I told you that I was going to off myself after completing my life story. That still holds true. My trusty handgun is still loaded next to my Remington Rand typewriter that Hemingway pissed on, and you know the f--cking bartender isn’t going to cut me off, so I’m going to sit here and keep writing my memoirs until I finish. To answer your question: No, I haven’t gotten up for bathroom breaks. I just piss on the floor.

A masterclass in being a man, disguised as fiction

The author continues the memoirs of Saint James Street James, picking up where the first course ended. Jumping into this lesson without the knowledge gained in the first is not recommended, but part of being a man is doing what you want.

The story follows St James St James as he strives to forge this country into a better place despite the numerous obstacles and hardships in his path. It begins with a simple act of atonement for the misdeeds of others, hits notes of raw determination at its crescendo, and ends with the just rewards of a job well done.

This book celebrates the diversity of human beings regardless of race, gender, or physical stature. It reinforces the lesson that following your heart is what allowed men like Hannibal, Alexander, and Genghis to "be the change you want to see in the world".

The most profound lesson to be learned from this amazing book is that with the right mindset, a man can use a personal loss to arm himself with the right tool to make the world a better place.

To summarize: Ross Patterson has done an amazing job yet again of reminding us of what it means to be a man, and a better human. I'd like to think we all have some of Saint James Street James DNA in all of us. And if the stories are true, we just might.

SJSJ ruined my sex life

They say if you have erection lasting longer than 12 hours to seek medical help. Well I had one that lasted 12 weeks after hearing this audio book. I went to my buddy who was a corpsman and he thought it was best to just amputate my junk, because the constant erection was causing me to black out randomly. In hind sight, that was probably a mistake, but oh well. Listen at your own discretion.

The greatest author of all time returns with yet another masterpiece. I don't know how he does it. I'm just glad he does.

Classic St James St James

Keeping with the classic St James St James mantra, this book pulls no punches and offers to offend everyone equally.

If your mother held you too much as a child, then this book isn’t for you.

What really sets this audio book apart from all of the others is the voices of the characters. Thanks Ross, Jables and everyone that signed an NDA!
