meh
Ugh. I understand the author is a Christian. But the long sermon like speeches from the main character came off insincere and annoying. I actually skipped over a lot of those bits. they just went on and on for too long. I don't remember so many long winded conversations in Love Comes Softly and I feel that book was much better for it. I don't think the author thinks a lot more non-christians will read this book and she will do some soul saving through it. she won't. people who aren't Christians will put this book down long before I did. if you want a book that is nearly half sermon-like chatter from the main character- this is the book for you! if you'd rather your story was more story. well. find something else.
