Publisher's summary

This book is a fictionalized crime thriller with police procedures, private detectives, forensic evidence, and two sisters and their mother tracking down the killer.

What begins as a bad date for Wendy turns into a nightmare for her brother-in-law and his girlfriend. The lead detective doesn't believe Wendy and her sister Jennifer when they tell their story to the police. The emails have vanished after being opened, and there's so much blood no one could survive losing that much. Their story reaffirms his thinking that Hunter is guilty. It's up to Wendy, Jennifer, and their mother to find Steven and free Valerie before it's too late.

Two girls bring down the killer in a killer story

First off I'll admit that dating stories with sex scenes really aren't my thing, so I won't be reviewing that aspect of it, but stick with the whole thriller investigative parts, and in that this story shines. Two sisters trying to track down a murderer all by themselves; sounds like it'd make a good movie of the week (do they still make those anymore?). These women aren't ex-military or anything like that, just regular girls following the clues and confronting the killer. Good enough to keep my listening.

A good story made better by wonderful narration.

I thought this was a good solid story, made better by the narrator's versatility and obvious understanding of the story. She wasn't just reading words, she was feeling and showing them.
