Lu had a deadline. she had to write her thesis in order to graduate and this semester was her last chance to do so.
Since her aunt, a former Hollywood starlet was now in a Catholic order in Connecticut. she thought that her Aunt Lori would be a great topic.
As Lu finds out, when long kept secrets are revealed, the truth can be life confirming or life changing.
The story and characters are well written and well developed. I definitely stayed up past my bedtime to listen to one more chapter.
Now zi need to find more books by Sarah McCoy!

Lovely

the story is a time split. but you should know that because of the title of the book. I like how the relationships develop. How we go through each decision with Lori. Sharing her story is a testimony of what God can do

A tragic love story with a happy ending! Lori Lovely was an aspiring actress in 1969 that fell in love with a leading actor Lucas Weasley. Lucas died in a tragic car accident that Lori was driving when she told him that she was pregnant and a branch hit the windshield. Lori became a Benedictine Nun when she was pregnant and had her sister adopt her baby when she had lost hers. The baby was named Lucille(Lu). Lu will find out the truth when she interviews Aunt Lori for her Thesis. Really enjoyed the book!

OMG, total love story.

I loved this book and the end as I watched it un fold had me in tears. I felt like I was right there alongside Lori Lovely. Well written, awesome characters.

Enjoyable read

I really enjoyed the story up until the end. I feel Lori’s story was complete, but that Lu’s story was just starting. Maybe that was the point, but I would have like some more information about Lu. But overall it’s a great story and I recommend it if you’re looking for a compelling read with a good narrator.
