Factual coverage of wuhan virus

Thank you for removing the FUD, opinion and misinformation from the events surrounding the development and release (accidental or deliberate) of the Covid 19 virus. I would have liked to have seen some additional detail on China’s 2011 submission to the UN regarding the details they reveled about their virus study areas but what is in the book is damning. Also, more info on the grants approved by the US NIH to Eco health alliance and the money that was sent to wuhan by EHA would have been informative.

The facts are frightening.

Sharri Markson hits this story from numerous angles and a host of sources... Covid-19 didn't have to happen.

It is very informative and fact based. My heart is heavy and I wept more than once at the selflessness of the whistleblowers. It is stunning to me that hatred of Trump and pure greed caused this level of destruction and obfuscation in the West. The number of people who engaged in CYA propaganda at the expense of so many lives is extremely demoralizing. Thanks Sharri.

Thoroughly researched and clearly explained

Narration is clear.

The case for the laboratory origin of covid is convincing and highly disturbing.

Lots of deep information, but…

I appreciated the author’s digging into the many oddities surrounding the apparent leak in Wuhan and the coverup by China’s rulers and military as well as that of the US government. I think, however, she fell a bit prey to the machinations of US intelligence. I was disappointed that she did not mention the work of Professor Francis Boyle who wrote the anti biological warfare law passed by the UN, the US Congress and sign by President GHW Bush, and who long ago established the relationship between the US bio-warfare labs at the Univ of North Carolina and the US military’s horrific lab at Ft Detrick MD. He has warned of the danger of these labs for decades. Ms. Markson’s work could have been enhanced by the inclusion of Boyle’s work and insights. Without it, I question the book’s ultimate value.

Well-sourced, fascinating, comprehensive!

Text-book example of truth being stranger than fiction. It’s as intriguing as a thriller or science fiction work - but factual. Very scary.

Definitely worth the read. Not crazy political.

This is a well written book, with lots of good basic info about the beginning of the pandemic. I read a lot on infectious diseases and have started reading the books that are now coming out about Covid.
Ms. Markson uses a true journalistic approach, providing a wide range of info, without a clear political position or”twisting” info to make a point.
There are a few clear actions that both the US and China made that seriously endanger the respected position of science and this book speaks to that.
