Critically acclaimed, best-selling author Zuri Day pens the kind of sultry romances that keep her fans begging for more.

Following a steamy European encounter, Tiffany Matthews is now working as a sous chef at wealthy businessman Dominick Rollins’ prestigious L.A. restaurant. Tiffany tries to keep her new boss at arm’s length, but soon she surrenders to his not-so-innocent flirtations. Now things are heating up in the kitchen—and in the bedroom.

How old is Tiffany?

Would you listen to What Love Tastes Like again? Why?

I liked the storyline and I enjoy Black romance books. However, I found myself constantly frustrated by Tiffany's childish logic. I wanted her to handle her relationship with Nik, like a woman!

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

The ending was expected. However, it ended in such a way that a sequel is highly probably.

Have you listened to any of Patricia R. Floyd’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I enjoy her and search for books where she reads.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No

Solid.

Although the main character, Tiffany, was extremely annoying, this book was overall a good read (or listen).

Great for a break from serious

Loved the best friend Joy
She was kind of real compared to the others. Without her, there would be a missing part. Tiffany was fine and much like that of a young girl with dreams that landed all of her dreams. She didn't seem to have to work much for it is all.

Predictable

This book had some entertainment value but no surprises. I knew where it was going to end up right from the beginning.

Love it......................

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would. I think this was a great love story and this would definately hold your attention.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Nick and Joy. Nick sounds like the ideal man. Joy sounds like the ideal best friend/sister, love her personality, is a little like my own advice to my friends.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Patricia R. Floyd?

I'm actually mad because, I have listen to all of her books on audible already,,so loving this author and ready for audible to get more of her books.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No not really,,

Great narrator, iffy story

I wanted to like this book more than I did. The narrator was terrific! Beautiful voice and very good characterization. I enjoyed the restaurant scenes, and the fact that the characters were culturally black. On the other hand, these African-American characters seemed to live in a world where their race is irrelevant. In addition, I thought the hero was too "I'm going to be wonderful to you as long as you do what I want you to do" through most of the book. He's dismisses her legitimate concerns about their relationship and at one point commits clear sexual harassment (telling her she'd fired if she doesn't do what he tells her to do -- so what if it was a nice thing he was doing for her, the fact is that he decided what she needed and then coerced her into it). Then he makes a unilateral decision affecting both of them and gets offended when she's justifiably angry. He accuses her of not wanting to talk it out, when, as she realizes later, there's nothing to talk about because he'd already gone ahead with his plans. Still, even though she acknowledges that, in the next second she's thinking she's being unfair to him. What? The final conflict in the book is ridiculous.
