Like being handed a gold nuggets

This book doesn’t provide checklists, step-by-step plans, or “secrets” to becoming extraordinary, and that’s exactly why this read is so refreshing.

The author instead summarizes the mindset that’s been echoed by all extraordinary people in their fields (and that the author has used to transform his own life) while also giving me the permission to create my own path to success, provided I create a solid plan and put in lots of hard work and focused practice.

Anyone who thinks they’d prefer the former rather than the latter might be surprised by the value found in this little book. Even when you’re broke, depressed, stuck, and desperate for shortcuts, this book proves that busting through your obstacles is the only way through them; you can’t side-step your way to success. To me, learning such a gold nugget along with the others found in this book in such a short amount of time has provided quite the ROI.

Either way, you wouldn’t lose anything to give this book a chance, given that it’s a relatively short read.

I wish Anthony had narrated the book himself in his own energetic, down to earth style, but the narrator’s performance was nonetheless great.

If you want a taste of what it’s like to think like the greatest leaders and performers in history, or you feel that you need a springboard to help launch your life on its own extraordinary journey, this is the book won’t let you down.
