Publisher's summary

“Earl Nightingale helps you discover what you were born to do with your life!”

Young people are faced with many confusing issues. Answers are often hard to come by, especially answers to these major questions:

How do I pick a marriage partner?

What career should I pursue?

How do I set and meet goals?

How can I live life to the fullest?

In this program, Earl will help you come up with meaningful responses to those vexing questions, and others that may be troubling you.

For more than 40 years before his death in 1989, Earl Nightingale helped others to understand their lives and encouraged them to seize the many opportunities that life has to offer. The company he helped to form, the Nightingale-Conant Corporation, has received thousands of letters from people all over the world, in every field of endeavor, who have experienced a tremendous difference in their lives after listening to Earl's words. This is a typical response: "He opens my mind and lifts my spirit with power and determination. It's not just the marvelous ideas he brings to light—it's the voice itself that commands the heart."

Earl created more than 7,000 radio commentaries for "Our Changing World," the longest-running syndicated radio program in history. He wrote two popular books and many audio programs.

Many consider Earl to be the best-read and most eloquent communicator on personal improvement this century has produced. He won the Napoleon Hill Foundation gold medal award for literary excellence and the golden gavel award from toastmasters international. He was inducted into the International Speakers Hall of Fame and the coveted Radio Hall of Fame.

Because of the power of mass communication and the universality of his message, he has touched the lives of millions. What Every Young Person Should Know is the culmination of a lifetime of research in the field of personal growth. Earl recorded this exciting new self-improvement program for young people as a legacy to future generations.

Great for any young person

This book is a great primer for any young person starting their "journey of life." Earl gives many scenarios they may face that are even relevant for modern times.I didn't know about this book when I was a young man, but I wished someone would have turned me on to this valuable information. Earl also gives his information and wisdom in a soothing, fatherly way that shows he truly cares about the future of our youth.
