Masterful!

Incredibly thorough and exhaustive research, with thoughtful analysis and comparisons between the biblical texts. The ONLY thing I didn’t like was the narrator’s tone at numerous times when it was clear that the authorship of a Qu’ranic verse or the Qu’ran itself was in question (or similar judgement). I myself didn’t have a problem with the narrator. However, even though it may seem obvious to a Christian, a Muslim who believes in Islam will likely be put off by the sarcastic tone of voice which pervades this narration - especially in light of the fact that the author takes great pains to reassure the Muslim audience who may be reading this work that it is undertaken with the utmost seriousness and respect. Outside of the narration, the work itself is truly masterful.

Better than I Expected

I expected this book to be very complicated and to get down in the weeds on a number of issues. Instead, Dr White did a masterful work of presenting a well organized and easy to understand review of the Qur’an and what Christians should know about it. I highly recommend this book.

Wonderful analysis

Dr. James White did a fabulous job of fairly analyzing the Quran and the claims of Muhammad. I have been studying Islam for myself and this has been an enormous help to me. I hope it blesses others as it has myself.

Fair, Respectful, Balanced Dialogue about the Qur’an

While this book is written from the Christian worldview, James White does an extremely admirable job of critiquing the Qur’an respectfully, honestly, and objectively. I only wish more topics of cultural disagreement could be addressed with this type of tact and scholarship in today’s day and age. Not only did this book educate me about the Qur’an, but it also served as a great apologetic resource, firming up my trust in the Christian scriptures and the message of Christ. I would highly recommend this book to any Christian or Muslim. The interactions among these two faiths will only become more frequent in the years to come, so it is important that we can have honest, truthful, and loving conversations about where we align and where we differ in our understanding of God. Please pray that the Lord would continue to use this book as a resource to win our Muslim neighbors around the world to Christ.

Apologetic Resource for Christians

This book is a great introduction to what Christians should know about the Quran, it's author, and it's relationship to the Christian message. Rather than a simple overview of the Islamic faith, this is an apologetic resource for Christians to engage Muslims in important dialog about our respective beliefs.

Very informative

I really enjoyed this book. The author approached the content with respect and question. It will be viewed very controversially by the Islamic community, but the overwhelming evidence drawn upon must be viewed by the community. To not question your beliefs is to blindly accept potential falsehoods.

Sobering Clarity

An intelligent, fair, and logically airtight critique of Islam. No Evangelist-Apologist-Polemicist should forgo the benefits of this work when witnessing to Muslims.

Excellent, well-researched perspective

A must listen for the times we are in. Christians want Muslims to represent them accurately, but then often revert to stereotypes when representing Islam.
