Publisher's summary

Rosie Jackson is beginning to slowly come to terms with a new life and a new future at the age of 65.

Rosie is bereft when her husband, Mike, dies. She misses him terribly; even though he wasn't the love of her life, she feels lonely in her grief, despite being close to her two grown-up daughters.

With time away from the family florist business, Rosie has the space to think about the past and what might have been. She remembers a summer with first love Peter as one of the happiest times of her life, but her memories are bittersweet. After a chance encounter with Peter 47 years later, they both begin to wonder 'what if?' and whether it's never too late for second chances in love....

Not your usual Sue Watson

On chapter 20 and it’s awful. Maybe it’s the narrator (I love Tasmania who puts you in the story) it’s a love story which I really dislike. Not Ms. Watson’s usual twist and turn.

Finally a Book For Older Women

Started slow and almost lost me by inserting atheism. Only the one mention of it and relevant to nothing at all in the story. The story is very funny. I listen with ear buds while doing my daily walk and it causes me to laugh out loud numerous times. I’m sure I look like a crazy lady. Ms. Watson put into words many of my own feelings! Great read/listen. Love the narrator and will be listening to it again!

BORING

Don’t waste your time and money like I did on this story.
I kept waiting for the plot twist or the climax and neither ever happened. The performance was okay, but the story just lacked anything resembling a page turner.
