Good start

Good little listen. Narration was awesome.
Will Simon have the chops to make it as a shadowhunter? We will just have to wait for the next story to see what happens.

book 1, really??!

5 min into the book I was checking that I hadn't picked up a sequel, as there was tons of references to earlier events. 12min in I could not take it anymore, and the story had started yet. just all the stuff that had happened. Who starts a series with a resume??

Simon

This is the beginning of Simon's school year. This is when he tries to fit in, but cannot due to the fact that everyone thinks he's a warrior. The truth is he feels that he isn't because of the fact that he has demon amnesia. The worst part is he does not remember who he was before the amnesia. He decided to come to Shadowhunter Academy to find his past self, but realizes he is there for another reason, yet that inner reason has not been discovered. He does realize that he has hope, and that's all that matters.

Very Funny But Ends Abruptly

the book has a good sense of humor. the character of Simon Lewis gets flushed out in this book. a new character named George Lovelace is introduced. it's very entertaining.

An Amazing story

I am e static about this series and haven't laughed so hard in awhile. The way it was written is exactly how I react and think to myself a lot during similar situations. Very well done deeply encourage the read.
