Since 2010, the We Hate Movies podcast has been loudly celebrating and tearing apart movies from across the spectrum: from forgotten '80s actioners and insane romantic comedies of the '90s, to the early CGI blockbusters of the aughts and the hyper-nostalgic franchises of the 2010s and today. Every week, comedians Andrew Jupin, Stephen Sajdak, Eric Szyszka, and Chris Cabin pick a movie from the near-past to discuss and joke around about in all its positive and negative glory. Arte

  • S16: Gleep Glossary #83 - Darth Vader (Live in the U.K.)
    Nov 20 2025
Recorded 19 July, 2025 for The Oxford Comedy Festival - Oxford, England

"Everyone here is aware that he's just gonna read from a book about a Star Wars character?" - Steve

On our first ever LIVE Gleep Glossary, the Cerveza Crystal is flowing (not really, unfortunately) as the guys go all the way with Darth Vader, learning almost everything about his long, and rich life. But even after all that, can you ever really know someone like Darth? The gang did their best, playing to a sold-out crowd in England, to try and find out. PLUS: That little kid in the Kenner toy commercial got his ass kicked, right?

We're releasing this HUGE Gleep Glossary episode over here on the free feed as well to give folks a taste of our Star Wars sideshow that they may not have yet checked out! There are currently over 80 other Gleep Glossary chapters available on our Patreon right now for you to enjoy! So click through and sign up today!

Gleep Glossary: A Star Wars Story is a show where the guys try to honor the history and legacy of Star Wars characters, most of whom we've been told don't matter anymore! It releases once a month on their Patreon.

  • S16 Ep832: Hellraiser '87 (Live in the U.K., W❤️M)
    Nov 18 2025
Recorded 19 July, 2025 for The Oxford Comedy Festival - Oxford, England

“If you’re going to meet Lucifer, you should clean up a little bit…” - Chris on Uncle Frank

On this week’s episode, it’s our outrageous show from the U.K. where, on night two of our residency, we performed this wild We ❤️ Movies set on the fantastic horror classic, Hellraiser! How great are all these practical effects? Who in their right mind would move into this house in the state it’s in when they arrive? How awkward is this horrendous dinner party? Why were they dubbing all these English actors, pretending this film was supposed to take place in America? And this guy is cinema’s worst Uncle Frank, right? PLUS: Be sure to tune into the latest cooking show sensation, Gordon Ramsay’s Chicken Nightmares!

Hellraiser stars Andrew Robinson, Clare Higgins, Ashley Laurence, Sean Chapman, Oliver Smith, Frank Baker, Robert Hines, Nicholas Vince, Simon Bamford, Grace Kirby, and Doug Bradley as Pinhead; directed by Clive Barker.

Honestly, could have been awesome if they weren't intent on proving their virtue. They are pretty damn funny sometimes and othertimes so cringy that it made me just stop caring and find something else to listen to.

What could have been.
