Great Story & Listen🎧 Sweet & Entertaining!

I loved this story, it is well written, well told and completely captivated my mind from start to end. The storylines are original and there is great character development. When I first started the book I was not sure if I would like Willow, but that did not last long, I loved the direction the author took her character, the more you learn of her the more there is to like. And as Caleb found out you can not always judge a person by first impressions. Back to Willow, I admired her strength and determination to succeed despite the position she was put in and her circumstances. I loved how and why she chose to adopt Buddy, who turned out to be a star and a great side kick for her. When life threatening letters are sent to the station they hire her a bodyguard, the best in the business, Caleb. He did not want to take the job at first but took it after they tripled his salary. Despite their age differences and coming from different worlds there is great chemistry between the two. Wanting to remain professional he fights it. It was great how things played out between the two. Their story is a sweet one but there is no shortage of drama, angst and some frightening and suspenseful moments that moves you to the edge of your seat. Ann Omasta, thank you for this great story, I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I listened to the Audible edition, Sarah L. Colton is a terrific narrator and voice performer. She brings the characters to life, gives each their own voice and personality. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the great listen🎧

A Star, A Dog and a Body Guard

When a local TV celebrity attracts a disgruntled and dangerously unstable fan, the network assigns her and her adorable dog a bodyguard in this funny, romantic and suspenseful story by Ann Omasta. As with the rest of her animal stories, it's Buddy the dog and his precocious antics that steal the show, but I loved the strong, determined and yet vulnerable and insecure Willow and the strong, steady, alpha male Caleb who works so hard to hold on to his business-like demeanor and his preconceptions about showbiz divas.
Add Caleb's family and the irrepressible Dash and Grace from Guarding Grace and you have a supporting cast that make this book a pleasure. Expertly narrated by the incomparable Sarah Colton, this book's a real pleasure.

Her bodyguard

An insecure local tv personality has a bodyguard thrust upon her by her studio due to threats. She doesn't expect to fall for the younger arrogant man. But love knows no boundaries and as the threat escalates they may not have much time to declare their love. I received a complimentary audio and this review is voluntary.

Great Read

Watching Willow was another great read by Ann Omasta. Willow is a local television star who is on the verge of losing her job. Willow is on the search for a golden retriever to be her sidekick and help save her job. She meets Buddy and knows that he is just the dog for her. Unfortunately her and Buddy receive a threatening letter. The television studio hires Caleb to be her bodyguard, although he is reluctant he takes the job. I loved reading Willow and Caleb's story. The audiobook was great and the narrators brought such life to the characters. I can't wait to read more by the author.

Romance

This is the first book by Ann Omasta that I have read. Romance is not usually my choice in reading but I did enjoy this clean fun book. I thought Sarah L Colton does a wonderful job of narrating this story. I love how Willow changes (softens) after finding the two men in her life. A lovely dog and a bodyguard. I was gifted this book with the understanding that I would leave an honest review.

Enjoyable

I got this ARC via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. The story started out very slowly but after she got the dog Buddy things picked up. I liked the bodyguard and the driver. The ending was very good and the narrator made the story go well.
