Loved it

This was a fun distraction between some much longer books I’ve been listening to. It was a fun mystery story that kept me guessing.

Blatant political agenda becomes focus.

Book one in the trilogy was charming and just plain fun. This last book was very disappointing with repetitive, overworked plots and characters becoming cartoonish.
Even more egregious, I have never appreciated political agendas being forced into the plot- even if I agree.

Excellent story telling

I have enjoyed all three Moon Base Alpha books. The mystery and the character are what keep me coming back. This time was a little more predicable that the last but it was nonetheless a great story.

Awesome!!

This book is really good with lots of twists and turns that is didn’t see coming like [Removed for spoiler alert reasons] and [Also removed]. If you haven’t read the first two books than you need to or else this book will be confusing and will spoil a lot

Extraordinary, unbelievable, crazy good, any will describe this book

Think of the best book you read, then double how great it was. That is the only way to describe this book.
This extraordinary piece of work will definitely delight the listener.

Fine Ending to Moon Base Alpha

I'm a big fan of Stuart Gibbs and recommend his books to my students on a regular basis. I felt like this was an interesting read that gave us a mystery to solve and wrapped up some of the ongoing pieces of the series in a way that satisfied me. Gibbs writes main characters that are smart but not perfect and supporting characters with lots of, well, character. Most middle grade sci fi does not address much science, but I felt like Gibbs did introduce some sensible thinking about space travel that his target audience would find interesting, and he clearly gets the humor of middle grade readers. I'll miss this series but look forward to his future work!
