Great storytelling!

As always, great story with many teachings about life and how to treat others. I'm 54 but have been reading andl listening to these books since my nephew was about 8. He's 17 now and we still love the warrior cat books.

love it

The reader did voices and really brought the book to life. This one has some heart wrenching moments. I really enjoyed this story.

Great narrator for Squirrelflight

Different than normal, some of the voices were hard to distinguish who's talking. However, halfway through, it was difficult to imagine the old voices for them. It would be awesome if the normal narrator and her could team up for the books to give better portrayals of female/male character voices in the future. I also felt like this narrator did a better job with emotion in some of the characters. Great listen and I would recommend any warriors fan to read this.

enjoyed this book.

I liked this book. the narrator was awesome. it would be cool to hear a colab with her and McCloud Andrews.

as far as the story goes. Squirrelflight could do better than Bramble. he is a jerk. its like a emotionally abusive relationship. I think she should have dropped him in the end.

I love this series

I own almost the whole series in paperback & hardback.i love the whole series. they come across some serious realistic problems & work through them as a clan. team work is stressed as a better problem solving solution. honor, love, & consideration for others as well as not jumping to conclusions about someone is also stressed. I didnt want to put the books down. Having them on audible means I can have my favorite stories & still get my work done around the house.

book is great, reader pauses a lot between words

book is well written, but the reader pauses as if there's commas between every word when reading male characters.

McInerney Leaves Much to be Disired

This story revolves around SquirrelFlight and her disagreements with BrambleStar. It quickly becomes redundant having to listen to how much she argues with him and the other leaders. What makes it so unbearable is the shrill voice of the narrator. Perhaps I've just grown accustomed to Macleod Andrews. But Kathleen McInerney, by comparison, is quite bad, to say the least. Her voice hardly fluctuates between characters, and it sound as if she is constantly out if breath. Compared to the other books, this one is just disappointing.

Enjoyable, but Wrong Narrator.

This was a good book, but I barely got emerresd into it hearing all the characters with a different voice. I have loved this series being narrated by McCloud Andrews. Also I have hearing loss problems and it's much more difficult to understand this narrator vs McCloud Andrews.

Five stars all round!

The book generally only really makes sense if you’ve read the series but so long as you have it’s a wonderful book with adventure, happiness and heartbreak. The characters are inspiring and interesting with a little evil in almost all of them. I personally found this story inspired me to fight for what I think is right and I loved the part where squirrelflight saved the kits from the avalanche. Everyone I know that read this book really enjoyed it and so did I. You could listen to this book ten times and not get bored of it. Great book.

I strongly recommend this book. It only makes sense if you’ve read the series and if you have it’s amazing! I love how squirrelflight defends herself so strongly!🙂

Unexpected!

So when i first heard about this book it was pretty negative, mainly people talking about how the character named Bramblestar was treating Squirrelflight with alot of disrespect. So i was coming into this book preparing for it to just frustrate me and not like it very much. (Possible spoilers ahead) In the first part we get introduced into the newest problem, all the clan leaders were upset about the new borders because the part of the land they had to give up is now being wasted. Which you know they always complain about borders so no suprise there. (but a bit frustrating) Squirrelflight then remembers about a unused peice of land above Thundedclan and suggests the idea. Horrible mistake. Then Squirrelflight decides to go go that area with Leafstar and they meet some cats but i won't spoil that .And so until the middleish part of the book it's mainly Bramblestar rejecting Squirrelflights ideas. Then interesting stuff starts to happen like a new mysterious sickness striking cats down and stopping there heartbeat immediately, you know normal stray cat stuff. A cat gives birth and yeah stuff like that. THEN THE LAST 10 CHAPTERS COME AROUND. The last bits of the book are awesome i won't spoil it but it is great! And then the book and then after a sad and happyish moment the book ends.

TLDR, I came into the book expecting it to disappoint but i was wrong!

didn't annoy me and got me hooked into the book!
And the reader did a fantastic job, normally when the reader speaks in a child's voice it's very squeaky and annoying (or atleast in crookedstars promise) but this reader
didn't annoy me and got me hooked into the book!

I would definitely recommend this book!
