Uncover the star-crossed fate of StormClan in the next thrilling, superlong stand-alone adventure in Erin Hunter’s #1 nationally bestselling Warriors series!

Stripestar has always imagined a life beyond the forest, but, as leader of ThunderClan, he knows that his duty to his Clanmates comes first. When tragedy strikes and WindClan’s leader, Galestar, approaches with an offer of allyship, he swiftly accepts. But he and Galestar have history, a connection that only deepens as they continue to work together.

Galestar loves being a WindClan cat, but her relationship with Stripestar makes her question the strict Warrior code that forbids them from being together. Determined to build a family, she and Stripestar decide to combine their Clans into one: StormClan. However, StarClan refuses to approve and vows to punish them for breaking with Clan tradition.

Stripestar and Galestar decide to leave the forest and seek new land for their Clan. But they are soon faced with the reality of life without StarClan’s guidance, sending them down a path of peril, loss, and despair. Can these cats find the way forward without StarClan, or are they doomed to a grim fate that will echo for generations to come?

Interesting book. Starclan seems almost vindictive to me, and cruel, and the cat's have almost no logic, but what's new?

other than the narrator mispronouncing everything the book was pretty good and why the hell were the cats? so country or Russian did it make sense?

fire that narrator

What others have said, the narration is poor. stumbling over words, mispronouncing names, sentences not coming together properly, emotionless, etc. "Raincat" sent me lol.

Other than that, I would say the book itself is ok, albeit a bit disappointing. But it is a story about a Clan that never made it, so I knew what I was in for. Still, its a bit depressing getting through a book where the characters never win and there's a tragedy at every chapter.

Poor Narration

Probably the hardest warriors book to get through.

The characters are frustrating. The star crossed lover trope was not done well. They don't even seem too in love to be making the foolish mistakes they make here. Most of the book is the group wandering around and starving. There's not enough chemistry between the main leads to make up for the wandering story. The wildcats aren't introduced until the last 2.5 hours of a 13 hour books. I have gained almost nothing from the story except knowing that the 5 clans have a horrible memory of things that seem to be important.

The narration was the toughest part. Not a bad narrator in the sense, but not the right narrator for warriors. There were random accents thrown in, between something of a Russian and too many country accents. When the wildcats were first introduces, the first wildcat you meet has a country accent which he loses within a minute. Just don't do accents for warriors. It was painful to listen to.

I may have enjoyed it if I read it. But overall, not my cup of tea.
