Love the story, the narrator could use some work

I've been adoring this arc as it comes out, each twist and turn of the book caught me by surprise every time! Though I feel like the narrator is lacking in some aspects. She has a nice voice, but stumbles on some sentences, or mispronounces cat names. I will give benefit of the doubt, she is new to the series and is getting a handle on how everything sounds and is to be spoken. I feel like with time Katie Anvil Rich could become almost as iconic as MacLeod Andrews, but she is not right now.
