Who Done It , Why and How ?

A very enjoyable books with lots of twist and turns . I enjoy a book that keeps me guessing and this one certainly meets that mark .

Hands Down-Best Book I’ve Listened to in a Long Time!

Outstanding story, fantastic narration! I’m an avid listener to audiobooks in this genre & this book is in the top 3 for sure! Highly recommend!

Non-stop secrets

What a great read! Well written, edited and a bunch of crazy characters! I stopped trying to figure out who done it early on, and just enjoyed the ride! I highly recommend this domestic thriller. The narrator gave a wonderful performance and brought so much life to the story.

I could not stop listening

It was great truly I could not stop listening. I enjoyed the turns it took, just when I thought I knew all involved then came another twist.

The ramifications of ‘tolerating’

First, the main female character weakly tolerates a marriage that is rotten at its core. The very bad and intrusive behavior of the husband’s parents is tolerated. Bad behavior ripples all through the community, but is just sloughed off. No one has the fortitude to say, “No. Enough.”

That is, as in this case the children are forced into that role. As always, the children bear the brunt of this ‘tolerance.’ A strong but unequivocal “No. That is enough” statement is a real novelty in today’s world. Author makes some good points.

I did find the narration accent to be frequently distracting.

in the end I wished I hadn't listened to it.

Loved it. The mystery kept me guessing until the end. A great read for anyone.

More Accent Than Plot

A mindless listen that does not make you think too hard - good for walking or other exercise.
The story was OK. Very tidy ending. Maybe the best parts are the “Facebook Fights” that remind one of bad - but real - morning radio shows.

From the start you cannot stop listening. It’s so cleverly written. Love the storyline and absolutely love the narrator. Her range was on point.
