A common sense approach to solving problems of any kind from a woman who has so many lessons to teach from her many years in corporate America. I can hardly wait for your next book!

Insightful and useful

I don’t usually appreciate books with a formula or framework because they are often overly simplistic. Irma Parone goes beyond an 8-step framework to include the human element of decision-making. I especially appreciated how she incorporated the importance of psychological safety, diverse teams, and learning from failure. Her step 8 is one that is often forgotten and maybe the most critical: what can we learn from this decision?

The lessons from this book can be applied in business and in our personal lives.

Why four stars, not five? There was a bit too much preamble before getting to the steps. Also, I did not like the narration. Probably better to read this one than to listen to it.
