Kin Findlay and five other young voyagers are washed ashore on a strange island after suffering a devastating shipwreck. All the crew and everyone aboard the ship have sunk to the floor of the ocean. It is a miracle that Kin and his five friends survived this disaster.

Overall the story and performance were fine, just not great. I was not drawn back to it, but also did not feel the desire to stop the book early.
