Bully and Revenge

This book was two college students involved in a bullying situation. Yukio is the recipient of Alex's behavior yet stands up to him.
Seeing Alex's father Micah a revenge plot is put in place. A relationship is formed between Yukio and Micah for revenge how ever Yukio realizes its love. I loved how the relationship evolved, it was great story

Loved it

I loved this book. Keval Shah's voice really brings these characters and story to life. Yukio Hinode has a revenge plan against Alexander Carrington for all the things Alexander has done to him. When Yukio sees Alexander's Father Dr. Micah Carrington he knows exactly how to get his revenge. Yukio doesn't consider one thing when he pursues Micah and that's falling in love with him. Will his revenge plan ruin what he has with Micah?

When Revenge Turns to Love!

I adored Micah to the moon and back! He is a sweet man on the autism spectrum and that is represented with care. Yukio could be a bit much but that made it all the more rewarding to see him grow and get past his revenge because of his feelings for Micah. Unique dynamic and I loved seeing Micah stand his ground for himself. He deserved real love and Yukio gets there and provides Micah with love, happiness and some hot first times! Keval did a fantastic job bringing out these characters, especially Yukio as his narration helps you to really connect with him.

Unusal pairing

I enjoyed this story. It is a little different when the younger person is the more stronger personality. It showed that the two people that fit are not always the mold society expects.
Yukio has been getting bullied by Alexander since starting school and has no idea why. He doesn’t just sit back but rather is smart about how he gets his little jabs in. When it doesn’t stop Yukio comes up with a plan to get his revenge. The problem not all plans go as expected. This one certainly didn’t. Yukio didn’t plan on Micah being the personality that he would be attracted to. When that attraction goes further there is the problem of Alexander. I really enjoyed how the author took the different circumstances between Alexander, Micah and Yukio and pulled it all together. The twists to the story gave it that little plus I didn’t see coming. I also thought it was great how the secondary characters surprised me more than once how they turned out to fit in the story. I feel the narration by Keval Shah fit the characters. I’m anxious to see what comes next.

Emotions galore

Micah was so sweetly innocent and naive in the new relationship until he learned so truths. Yukio was so bullied by Micah's son that he wanted revenge any way he could have it. Things changed for Yukio and he doesn't want revenge, but a true relationship with Micah. Things turn into a disaster when Yukio's initial intentions come to light, and his relationship with Micah blows up. Alex was a nightmare and he had scars from his mom leaving and starting a new family and cutting ties. Major abandonment. As bad as Alex was, I empathized with him and look forward to his redemption. I loved that Micah made Yukio earn his trust after the debacle. An emotional rollercoaster that I was happy to ride. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.

Love this book!

Age gap is one of my favs and the authors have knocked it out of the park. Yukio and Micah are so incredibly sexy and the journey between them is so compelling. To go from reluctance to all in and back to distrust? Quite the journey and Kevel Shah delivers another spectacular performance!
