Enjoyed the continued Mazzone saga. Took me until the end of the book to like the FMC Katarina, but a lot of that had to do with Ramona’s performance which I hated for the most part. Her interpretation and drawn out speed was really bad. I had to up the speed on her performance then when Wen performed, I had to slow it back down to normal. Wen’s performance was perfect! Once again, I’d like to see this storyline continue with focus on Caleb and Josh, bringing Wen in for Caleb’s role and maybe Teddy Hamilton for Josh’s roll.

A very awesome puzzle

Dual audio was amazing!!!! The male was a bit airy for me, but it did not take away from the story. The story was nonstop and eventful!!! You will stay up to find out what is next. A great stand alone but intermingled very well with the mazzone mafia series.

Absolutely love Massimo and Katerina! When you learn her history, what she lived through, you understand why she is the way she is-you respect her and adore her. Massimo, Wow! He’s every woman’s dream!! So happy that all my favorites were in the story & they all formed friendships! Made me so happy!!

Dark Mafia Enemies-To-Lovers Romance

Vengeance of a Mafia Queen by Siobhan Davis is a stand-alone dark mafia enemies-to-lovers romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Ramona Master and Wen Ross.

I love Siobhan's books! She does an amazing job pulling me into the story. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Catarina and Massimo. Their relationship was messy, but you couldn't help but root for them. I loved getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Wen and Ramona did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, mafia romances, enemies-to-lovers romances, or romantic suspense.

What a dark and dirty mafia romance read this is...Davis delivers all the darkness that comes thru as smooth and bittersweet as the very best dark chocolate. Twists and turns that will shock and awe, pain and betrayal, sweet and steamy romance, all bundled together in this fantastic listen. Dual narration and point of view brought our main characters Massimo and Catarina to life. I loved how these main characters first met and the twists that united them. I also appreciated the maturity in communications - can't say too much about that without giving some of the exciting storyline away...Anyway, just know if you like mafia romance this one - with it's bad @$$ woman boss was awesome, and I really enjoyed it. Davis is fast becoming a go to author for me!

I am simply stunned after reading that massive explosive read. Good god, the author has truly outdone herself (and all the other books she's written!).

The heroine is tough as nails and simply fascinating. I'm so glad we got this story and heroine.

Intense, deliciously dark and action-packed.

Perfect for readers of dark romances.

Some glorious narrating. They were magnificent in giving these characters life.

One of my favorite mafia reads

I really enjoyed this book. It was one of my favorite mafia reads. I liked that it didn’t follow the typical romance storyline of they fall in love, then are torn apart, then rekindle their relationship. Their love was strong and steadfast as soon they came together and never faltered. That made me love this book even more. Definitely recommend!

There was a little bit of everything.

I really loved the FMC. Finally we got a bada$$ woman. Her backstory is so horrific, and it shaped her in so many ways. She honed that trauma, and used it as a weapon. We got to see her vulnerability. I didn’t love the epilog. I won’t spoil it, but I rolled my eyes.
MMC was ruthless, demanding, and exceptionally loyal. He could def be a dick, but underneath was a decent human.
There were twists and turns and a part that actually made me cry a bit.
There are some really awful monsters in this story.
Def recommend. The female narrator wasn’t my favorite, but I could ignore it.

Wow!!!!

It’s pretty dark so it won’t be for everyone. I couldn’t stop listening. Siobhan has quickly become one of my favorite authors.

These narrators are two of my favorites. They help bring any story line to life. Siobhan's books continue to amaze me. She always has great main character and this book is no different. I love how Massimo supports Catarina and never let's anyone disrespect her. Catarina has handled anything that has been thrown at her and comes back stronger.
