Excellent listen!

Siobhan Davis knows how to write stories that draw you in and keep you there until the last page. I have not only read this book, but now have listened to it! We get an intense, suspenseful, and steamy storyline with complex characters that deserve the HEA they get. My heart squeezed for them throughout the book. The twists and turns were unexpected. Another great read in this mafia world that has been created! I didn't want to pause it!

The narration was excellent! The book was brought to life with emotional performances that had it rolling like a movie in my head. Perfection!

Audio enhanced story

Great narrating giving this story extra appeal. Really enjoyed the audio version.

Age gap, intense and dark romance. Fiero is obsessed with Valentina from the moment he sees her. And the title says it all he wants her and therefore will have her. He is very possessive as well, meaning touch her and you know is a definite thought for him. Valentina has been through a crap ton of stuff by males I don't even think should be called men because of the things they did. She, however, is a true survivor and shows her strength. I highly recommend you read the triggers because believe me there are dark moments.

Fan-freaking-tastic story! Gets better and better

Taking What’s Mine, an Audiobook by Siobhan Davis, is the shocking, danger-filled story of Fiero and Valentina. Theirs is a tumultuous relationship. Fiero is, like his namesake, burning, heated, and can blow his top easily…especially where those he cares for are concerned. Valentina is living a horrible life, and has plans in the works.

The back story is engulfing and completely invests the reader! You CARE about these characters…hates the antagonists and, sometimes reluctantly, adore the protagonists in the story. Sometimes, you don’t know which is which!!! Absolutely FANTASTIC read!!!

This Audiobook was narrated by Ash Kingsley and Silas Hart….who were unbelievably incredible!!! I felt every emotion, every hurt, every bit of joy, every tenderness, every angriness, and it made the story so much more intense!! Excellent performances!!

One of my favorite Mafia Dark Romances

Siobhan Davis is an absolute goddess. Taking What’s Mine is an extension of the Mazzone Mafia about Don Fiero Maltese and Valentina Ferraro. Fiero pays Valentina’s husband to spend time with him initially against her will… This is not the normal mafia trope and I loved every minute of the dual narration.

Perfect narrators for Siobhan Davis' mafia world!

I am always up for a return to the Mazzone mafia world, and Fiero and Valentina are absolute perfection. From the moment Fiero lays eyes on Valentina he knows he'll do anything he needs to do to have her, and in the younger Valentina he finds a strong and fiery woman who just wants to be free from those who think they own her. Their entire story is such a wild ride filled with incredible twists, and the chemistry between them is, oh, so very delicious. Fiero and Valentina's story is intense and fantastically written, and it kept me glued to the book and my ears to the audio until I reached the very end. Ash Kingsley and Silas Hart were the perfect narrators for Fiero and Valentina. They brought the intensity and emotion of the Mazzone mafia world to life with perfection and I'm ready for a re-listen already!

Taking what's mine is a standalone, in the Mazzone Mafia world. You can absolutely read this as a standalone but it does make a better reading experience if you read in order. This is Valentina and Fieros book.

Don Fiero Maltese declares immediately upon seeing Valentina, that he wants her for himself. He's never been a relationship guy, swearing them off until HER.
Fiero decides he doesn't care if she's married he wants another man's wife and no matter what he will have her. Even if that means he has to buy her ... He just never has plans to return her.

Valentina is driven, strong and powerful and at times doesn't realize how strong she really is. She's smart and after everything that she's been through that should have broken her... she's not broken. She seems to be a match for Fiero. She already had planned on leaving her marriage, stocking money away. She was just biding her time to leave at the right moment.

When these two finally come together... man it's explosive and exciting. I absolutely that Valentina showed strength n courage but Fiero showed his softer side for her and showed her how she deserves to be treated when someone loves, cares and wants to protect you.

This was a fast paced book and was nice to see previous characters showing up, and how Siobhan interweaves them into the story.

This audio was phenomenal. First of all it was DUET narration by ash Kingsley and @Silas hart and these two did an excellent job bringing the characters to life for me. The emotion and grit, the angst were amazing.
This would be a great audio to add to your collection but please read the TW as there's a lot of tough topics dealt with.

Fiero’s Obsession and Valentina’s fire

As I am a fan of the Mazzone Mafia world, I was excited to get Fiero’s book. It’s medium spice and Fiero cannot keep his hands off Valentina. I loved his jealous and dominant side as much as his sweet and romantic one.

The cameos were just perfect looking into the lives of my fave couples and their kids. PLUS those next-gen hints 🫶🏼

This has Duet Narration with Ash Kingsley and Silas Hart. They both really captured both characters and blended well together making for a perfect listen!

Taking What's Mine is a dark romance which is part of the Mazzone Mafia series. This book is about Fiero Maltese and Valentina and is told from both of their points of view.

Fiero and Valentina meet and he instantly falls for her, however she is married to an evil guy. Fiero gets her for a weekend, and refuses to give her back.

I couldn’t put this book down. I had to see if they got their happy ending, did Valentina have to go back to her husband? Was Valentina happier with Fiero? Did Fiero get the girl he wanted?

I loved this audio, and couldn't stop listening.

Another Great Mafia Romance!

Loved this story about confirmed bachelor Fiero who is automatically enamored of Valentina and will stop at nothing to have her. Well written, full of danger and passion, the narrators do a great job bringing this book to life. I really enjoyed listening to it!
