Great introductory

The book was very informative, and entertaining. I really enjoyed the author's approach on the various topics.

Simple, straightforward concepts of BDSM

This is a short audiobook of fewer than 3 hours, and it introduced me to the wide world of BDSM and provided lifelong advice for even those who choose to be vanilla despite learning about it, namely: consent and communication are everything. It's never wise to violate the firm sexual boundaries of your partner and to never badger someone into having sex with you; these are part of the code that every person wanting a sexual relationship should maintain religiously.

Of course, learning about the various kinds of kinks, sex toys, and the suggestions of the author are also valid.

It kept my interest, but I'd consider myself curious on the subject matter. If you're just looking to dip your toe in, this is a great read. It covers some emotional aspects that can get left out. If you are looking for more of a "how-to" book, this is not the right fit. This book gives an overview and helps you yo figure out what you might loke, what you're open to, and what some terms are you may not have even heard of.

best way of understanding about kink

I was hooked from the first chapter. lots of useful information about bsdm and the world of pleasure

Great for quick reference

A good reference, but Wolf's writing style is very dry. I don't recommend trying to listen to this for leisure or in one straight shot unless you like being thrown a barrage of facts. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Just the basics please

This book offers some basic information for the vanilla to the hard core. Worth the read.
