Publisher's summary

My son just vanished into thin air from a commercial jet cruising at 30,000 feet.

The forces that took him aren't of this world.

I've barely recovered from the revelations that my boss is a vampire and magic is real. Now, my child has been kidnapped by Fae who want to rule humanity, and I've acquired powers I can't control.

Blowing doors off their hinges and starting fires with the power of my mind won't help me find Jace. For that, I'll have to trust a man - a vampire - with emotional walls as tall and thick as Fort Knox.

The answers I need won't be found on Earth, but to save my son, I'm ready to brave a realm that drives humans mad. I've been set adrift in a terrifying new world of monsters and magic. Adrift, but not alone. Somehow, I've gained a misfit family among the living and undead.

Just as well, because at this rate, it looks like I'm going to need them.

Vampire Bound is a new urban fantasy romance series by R.A. Steffan, set in the same world as the best-selling series The Last Vampire. Get the second book today and enter a world shared by humans, fae, demons, and vampires. It’s a place where the supernatural threatens the mundane, nothing is as it seems, and love will either be the world’s downfall or its salvation.

I LOVE Vonnie and Leonidis

LOVED IT. It picks up right where book one leaves off. Definitely get a lot more of Edward which I LOVED in this... I'm super glad that we're getting a SMALL look into Leo... I'm dying for book three!

The Search Begins

This book picks up where book one left off with that major cliffhanger and if you haven't listened to Book One then stop reading this review now!

Vonnie's until now latent magic has been triggered by drinking some of Rans' blood so that her body could heal from what Ivan did to her. Now not only has she to learn how to control her magic she also has to try and find her son who disappeared from a plane mid-flight at the end of Book One. As the only person with magic, other than a fae, is Edward, a demon bound ancient he is asked to give her guidance and training. The cost of this is a deal with the demon he is bound to, Nigelous.

After a little time spent training Vonnie and Edward come under fire and she is forced to use her magic to try and keep both herself and Edward alive. Her training cut short the time has come for Leonides and her to pay Nigelous' price - they must go to Dine and ask the Fae Court where the children who have been spirited away are?

Will the enforced time Vonnie and Leonides are spending together bring them closer? Will they find their answers? Will the magic of Dine send Vonnie Mad and most importantly will they survive their trip and make it back to Earth?

Yet again this book ends on a major cliffhanger where nothing is solved, indeed more questions are posed, I for one hope I don't have to wait too long for the next book because I am so invested in Vonnie's story!

I just loved the narration of this book, it was so very well done by Gwendolyn Druyor who brought these wonderful characters to life. She has narrated all the books in The Last Vampire Series so I suppose for her it was like revisiting old friends and revisiting places she had been before.

I was given this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.
