Publisher's Summary

Vampire: The Richard Chase Murders is an in-depth look into the life and disturbed mind of a killer, his family, and his many victims, the living as well as the dead. Within these pages you’ll discover what it was like for the police, and what a difficult job they had finding a killer they knew wouldn’t stop until he was apprehended. It was a race against time, in a series of murders that would stun even the most hardened investigators. It is the story of a city under siege, held captive by the man whose appetite for blood could not be satiated.

Great book

This was a very well written account of a very scary killer! I highly recommend this book. I liked how the author included much information about the victims.

Interesting case

I have never heard of this case.

I like the way it was written clearly and with concise details.

Kevin Pierce is one of THE best narrators of all.

Very interesting

This book was interesting and concise. I find it a bit perplexing that this guy was classified as sane, but what do I know? Well written with lots of detail.

not sure what I think should be different

Ann's so I should probably err on the 'good' side, but I am going to play harder to get (or mean spirited, to be tactful). it was not long, but should not have been longer, the research seemed done, if not well done.
