I have titled the nineteenth compilation for Crypto Hipster's Chronicles, Episode 19, "Early Crypto Trends and Predictions for 2022", and that episode I have now converted into this book.

Most crypto “experts” and “pundits” talk about the price possibilities of various cryptocurrencies. Price is the easiest denominator to discuss, especially for non-techies. And everyone likes to predict what prices could be. At the beginning of 2022, all of those predictions would turn out to be wrong. This was for a variety of factors including centralized finance implosions caused by Celsius, FTX, Voyager, BlockFi, to name just a few. No one predicted a bear or winter market, but here we are in the midst of a recovery at the time of this book in February 2023. Some predictions are not price-focused, rather development, regulatory, and infrastructure related instead. Those are the types of 2022 predictions made by the interviewees in this book. And many of the topics addressed in the Crypto Hipster Podcasts with these guests came true. The future of blockchain, despite market noise in the second half of 2022, is extraordinarily bright, warm and sunny. But, to get there, we just had to go through winter again.

This twentieth book in the Crypto Hipster series, entitled Valley and Thunder; Springtime and Crypto Winter, draws upon four Crypto Hipster podcasts. Sean Brizendine, an industry veteran from the Bitcoin early days and advisor at SecureX, tells us all about his views about the future of cryptocurrencies. David Long, Principal and Global Head of Investments at CV VC, ponders critically if we are all collectively underestimating the potential of blockchain technology. David Schwartz, founder of GetHedge and Director of Strategic Partnerships at Litecoin Foundation, shares his updates on Litecoin global development and potential of Litecoin cryptocurrency adoption. And Caroline Bowler, Chief Executive Officer at BTC Markets in Victoria, Australia, shares her insights into the Australia crypto scene and outlook down under.

My hope is that you find this book both educational and useful in your crypto and life journey.
