Publisher's summary

In this Christmas story, a tightly-wound workaholic is getting unwrapped by a handsome stranger....

Holly Redding has come home to enjoy the holidays with her family and, hopefully, to escape a case of writer’s block. So when a chance encounter with a sexy local proves to be too much of a heart-racing distraction, she vows to keep her distance. But in a small town like Haven, New Hampshire, it’s hard to avoid Cole Wiley - and their undeniable chemistry.

Cole wants Holly the moment she bumps into him. She may act a little icy since their stolen kiss, but he knows how to make her melt. If Cole gets his way, the two of them might be ringing in the New Year - and a new life - together....

Enjoyed the first 3/4 of the novella

I liked the first 3/4 of this novella but the last 3/4 had a confrontation that seemed like it could have been avoided and then like pride for in the way of talking about things. The ending really made me feel meh about the story. And I enjoyed Savannah Peachwood as a narrator but it’s written as a duel point of view with only a female narrator so it was hard for me to follow at times because I couldn’t hear the voice and associate it with the male or female POV.
