Publisher's Summary

Stefani Valetti

For the past few years, Stefani has been running her family’s Oregon winery, Bel Cielo Estate. The only thing missing from her picturesque countryside life is companionship. But with a great distaste for dating - and the city - Stefani approaches an international service to make her marital dreams come true.

Enter Yulia, the alluring Russian woman with a penchant for heavy flirtation. She occasionally puts her money where her mouth is, too, driving Stefani wild with fantasies that this marriage might be more than convenience.

Yet she can’t shake the feeling that Yulia has an ulterior motive. Or maybe that’s the Valettis’ collective past coming back to bite them.

Yulia Petrova

Yulia Petrova will do whatever it takes to get to America, specifically, the Pacific Northwest, where the only person who matters is waiting for her.

She’ll even marry a total stranger. A woman, no less.

The trick isn’t balancing her own preferences. No, the trick is keeping her new fiancée from finding out the truth too quickly. First, she must ensure that Stefani is in love with her. Then, Yulia must reveal the tragic truth that has brought her to America.

Dosvidaniya, mi amore

Their budding passion and rising trust in one another is about to be severely complicated by the illness sweeping the world. For Stefani, that means shutting down the winery and hiding behind her chronic anxiety. For Yulia, that means taking all matters into her own hands. The whole world could burn, and she would still get what she came here for.

And she will do it alone - with or without the woman she’s come to love.

A Russian Bride

Stefani runs her family’s winery in Oregon and wants a marriage and children. Yula is a beautiful Russian woman who wants to live in America in Oregon or Washington. She agrees to marry Stefani and help with the children. Can this relationship ever be real or will their secrets destroy them? Another brilliant performance and erotic romance. Recommend.

I want to say “from Russia with love”

I loved this book. Modern day mail order bride. The story line was great. Both main characters are driven and have goals, it takes a while before they share the truth and motives behind their goals in the relationship they are developing. The back and forth inside the bedroom and outside is fun and sexy to listen to. The fact that it’s set in 2020 with undertones of the pandemic is great gives the listener something relatable. The Russian ascents are pretty good too. The narrators voice is really smooth could definitely listen to more of her work.

Interesting romance

Until We Break is one of the first audiobooks I’ve listened to where I did not like one of the main characters, possibly even both of them. That being said, Cynthia Dane and Hildred Billings offers one of the most interesting relationships in the lesbian romance genre. Stefani, a successful winery owner decides for a marriage of convenience with Yulia, from Russia. What makes this interesting is that through most of it, I find myself asking, ‘how will this work, and why should it?’, but the authors eventually find a way to make it work. Trish Thompson does an excellent job with narrating many different voices, though her voice for Yulia does seem a little stiff and stereotypical Russian. There are times where Yulia’s accent is perfectly set for her deeds. The journey is worth the listen. Thankyou to Trish Thompson for the complementary access to this audiobook. This is a great first-Lesfic-narration; Cynthia Dane and Hildred Billings chose well to have their fascinating story read by Trish Thompson.

Can’t buy love

I felt so sorry for Stefani through the whole story. She was being used and manipulated and yet she still loved Yulia. I understand why Yulia did what she did but I still disliked her most of the time. I was riveted by this story and the way the author incorporates the COVID virus. The steamy scenes were off the charts hot.

Interesting and different storyline

I give the author kudos for a different type of storyline. With all of the “reality” TV shows out there involving International relationships, this was a nice twist to add to an FF romance novel, not to mention crafting a story that weaves in the 2020 pandemic. And, in addition, I found the narration amazingly good from a new addition to audible, Trish Thompson. She handled the character distinction extremely well and did a notably good job with the heavier Russian accent required for Yulia, the International bride. I will definitely be watching for any of the upcoming books where she provides the narration!

Book: This Audiobook is on the longer side with 11:30h. I love books with a good background story an well developed characters like this one. I enjoyed it very much.
Narration: After a couple of words I knew. I would enjoy this narration. Trish Thomson is making this story because alive. She does a fantastic job in portraying the accent of one of the main characters.

Another great Billings / Dane Hit!

Yulia and Stefani are both really great main characters with very different personalities.
And the different perspectives are really great to understand both characters really good. Yulia is much more complex then Stefani. Yulia have her secret on why she agreed to the marriage and Stefani just want a family.
The happy ending for the couple was really nice. I loved listen to it.
The story was of course hot as hell as usual.
Mild BDSM but also some very hot scenes! Again well written as always from Hildred Billings/ Cynthia Dane.
The Narration was really good and Trish Thompson did a great job with the voices and the whole reading.
