Unpleasant computer voice

The overall story was compelling. It gave insight to the hardships addiction cause. Often it is a stereotype that these circumstances are prevalent in low income low education communities. The family impacted in this story are well educated and affluent. The emotional toll suffered by families of an addict are the same no matter their status. I did not like the computerized voice but otherwise i would recommend this book

The truth of it

This is a completely real compilation of living an addict. The ups and downs, the questioning and disappointments, the humiliation of it all for all.

Eye Opening-ly Honest

This was a brutally honest story. I really felt for the author and the children. I cried a couple times right along with her. The constant ups and downs and not knowing what is going on, or what might happen has to have been brutal. She (the author) is most definitely a bada$$ for holding it together while supporting everyone and working her a$$ off.
Although the story me left me hanging a bit, I am thankful that her ex husband is still alive.

Highly recommended ! Informative and spot on with the facts. Did not enjoy the AI narration. Probably will not pick another book with AI narration.

Liberal long winded story

This is a book on the impact of meth on a family, however, she begins to push her narrative on George Floyd and racism. Immediately stopped reading after this part.
