The past and present unravel into staggering truths in this can’t-miss installment of the New York Times and USA Today best-selling Keeper of the Lost Cities series told entirely from Keefe’s point of view.

Please be careful. Please be happy. And please forget all about me. It’ll be better for everyone that way.

Those were the last words Keefe Sencen wrote to Sophie Foster before he ran away to the Forbidden Cities. He didn’t want to leave, but it was the only way to keep his friends safe while he figured out how to control his scary new powers and searched for answers about his past.

What he found was so much more than adventures in Humanland.

Where did he go? What did he do? And who did he meet while the rest of his friends worked to solve the mystery of Stellarlune? The answers go far beyond anything anyone could have ever imagined and give Keefe the power to change his destiny.

It was actually a pretty good book. The story was interesting, the addition of some old characters was fun, and the different perspective was new. It did lack some of the drama the other books have, but it was also a different place and a completely different setting.

Now my only complaint is the lgbtq+ stuff. The first one was ok I guess, just thought it was a little weird. The second one though, like come on it was so forced and so unnecessary! They mentioned two homosexuals in a row which not only doesn’t really make sense, but also just makes the book sound so forced and insincere. The other books were clean, which was great. Now for all we know Ethan Benedict Right the II was gay too!!

Anyways, just don’t give in to the work agenda and propaganda. If you really wanted to make your books inclusive though, go write another one with natural gay relationships, and don’t target a child audience. Please don’t make this mistake in the next book!

Lots of unnecessary lgbtq+

I absolutely loved the entire story, especially the last chapter. But I really enjoyed how Keefes story wasn’t left blank. WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN WITH ELANORE THOUGH!!!!!!!?

Dedication to the storyline

The book is very good, but I do not like the new narrator, it doesn’t sound like Keefe to me

Great book, miss old narrator

Great book! AMAZING book! I just wish the voice actor didn't sound like emo Henry Huggins. I loved how Shannon put in LGBTQ stuff! I'm SO excited for the movie (Disney, PLEASE dont mess this up!) I loved Keefe's perspective, especially in Chapter 42 of Stellarlune! Everyone I know that has read it loves it! Even better then Harry Potter! I wish she will make a lot more! (I hope Shannon will write LOTS AND LOTS of sequels!) DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU HAVE READ ALL OF THE ONES BEFORE, OTHERWISE YOU ARE IN FOR SOME MAJOR SPOILERS! As always, KEEFE! KEEFE! KEEFE!

TEAM FOSTER KEEFE

I thought the story was fantastic. Shannon messenger really never lets me down. The only drawback from the story is that there’s a new voice actor, which is not his fault. He did a fantastic job, but when there’s already 11 other books in the series with the same voice actor it’s hard to get into a story when every single character you already know and love has a different voice. It was like having your favorite movie have all the actors recast.

Great book and voice but miss the old voice actor

Amazing story and writing. Loved the plot twists and revival of certain characters as well as the redemption and action aspects. Did not appreciate the unnecessary mentions of characters with spouses of the same gender. Left me feeling gross but I was glad they were short. Over all this book was one of the best of the series. Despite what others think I liked the new narrator. Yes Sophie’s voice and the other female voices were pretty childish but this book is entirely from Keefe’s perspective. (Which was amazing by the way) so because of that it totally makes sense for the narrator to be a man. I think he did a great job. Also loved the reference to Ritz Crackers as well as the ridiculous amount of times pancakes were mentioned.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and getting to see things from Keffe’s POV. It was different listening to a male narrator, but he did a good job. My only complaint is that I listened to this book and finish it in a day and a half and now I’m ready for the next book. 🙂

Fun change, seeing the story from Keffe’s POV
